Our Land and Water is excited to have joined Grow 2019: Boma NZ Agri Summit as a channel partner – meaning we’ll be blogging updates live from the conference.
Grow 2019 is a 2-day event in Christchurch (April 10—11). We’re intrigued by the line-up of speakers and impressed by the ‘brain trust’ guiding development of the event.
Plus, we share a common goal: to help Aotearoa’s food and fibre sector become more innovative, sustainable, collaborative and profitable, now and into the future.
The Ministry for Primary Industries is Grow 2019’s foundation partner, and Te Hono and Blinc Innovation have stepped up to help attendees identify supportive pathways and networks for action after the event.
International speakers include:
- Abi Ramanan, CEO & Cofounder of Impact Vision, a food tech company using hyperspectral images to optimise food chain processes and prevent food waste across the globe
- Zenia Tata, Chief Impact Officer of XPRIZE Foundation, an organisation that catalyses radical breakthroughs that benefit humanity globally through incentivised competitions
- Raymond McCauley, scientist, engineer, and biohacker who works at the forefront of biotechnology
- Cherrie Atilano, founder and CEO of AGREA Agricultural Systems International, Inc., an agri-social enterprise working to digitalise agriculture and create sustainable and diversified sources of income for farmers and their families
Tickets are still available – we’ll see you there!
