Our Land and Water is funded until June 2024 and has therefore allocated almost all its research funding. Any final small open-call opportunities will be announced via our e-news.

The investment mechanisms used by Our Land and Water include: working groups, seed funding, think pieces, targeted investments, and open-call investments such as the Rural Professionals Fund.

Announcements about funding and research opportunities are made in our newsletter, and via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Submitting a Research Proposal

If you would like to submit a research proposal, find the standard template below. We strongly recommend talking to us about your idea before completing the template, due to the extremely limited funding remaining. Note that some request-for-proposal processes will vary from this template, so please use the specific proposal form when responding to RFPs.

Impact Extension Fund

Have you identified an opportunity to extend the impact of your completed OLW-funded project? We invite applications to our Impact Extension Fund, for the creation of new resources or opportunities to engage end-users and stakeholders. Applications will be accepted until the fund has been fully allocated. Applications will be considered as they are received. Click here to download the application form (.docx), then submit via email.
